From the 20th to the 21st of February 2026 BMTC will be performing a production of Oklahoma at Langley Park Theatre.
Set a few years before the state's official induction into the USA, Oklahoma tells the tale of the inhabitants of a small budding township, building community in the wake of the Land Rush of 1889.
The show explores the relationships between Laurey, the niece of a farm owner, Curly, a charming cowboy, and Jud, a lonesome farmhand.
The musical covers themes of community, class, societal expectations of gender roles and the lengths to which one might go in order to get what they want.
